Learning at Mariano Marcos State University Laboratory Elementary School (MMSU-LES) is highly pupil-centered, engaging and inquiry based. Trough a board range of experiences in and beyond school, pupils become confident, optimistic, and compassionate, ready to discover and take an adventure in the world.
MMSU Laboratory Elementary School always sends out pupils to compete with different schools and the results are rewarding. MMSU is always at the top of every game. Competitions like a sports, academics, journalism, debate, Philippine Science and MathSci competion and oration are their main forte.
MMSU- LES Laoag campus is situated at Barangay 5 San Pedro, Castro Avenue, Laoag City. The school is composed of two buildings the main buildings for classroom and faculty rooms and principals office. While the other building is for computer room, student activity center and guidance counselors’ office. It has a wide playground with basket ball court. It is located at the eastern part of Mariano Marcos State University College of Teacher Education. The room are well ventilated, well light, air-conditioned, spacious, and have enough chairs and tables, to accommodate the students and the teaches. The school also has CCTV cameras for the
safety and security of the pupils. As you roam around the campus, they are plenty of bulletin boards designated in each organization that the school has sanctioned. The university only affirms that the students are really engage in the different academic and interest clubs which in turn are ways for them to grow and be able to develop more their self-esteems and capabilities.
